“4Archangel Shekina is known as “Glory emanating from the Divine” and stands for Liberation. Many see her as “the Holy Ghost,” In Jewish lore, Shekinah stands between the creator and the human. When Adam and Eve left Eden, she remained. The purpose of the Universe is to reunite male and female, creator with creatrix, Metatron with Shekinah…”
Shekhina (Shekina, Shechina, Shakti, Sh’kina, and Shekinah) though known by many names, she is referred to as the Goddess of the Angels. Other cultures have different meanings for her, but all have just about the same interpretation meaning of Oneness:
“Holy Spirit,” in Hebrew feminine form, from the biblical verb shakhan meaning “the act of dwelling.” Shekhina meant the aspect of God that dwelt among people.
Jewish Kabbalistic version of Shakti meaning the “female soul of God.” We will explore the Mysteries of Shekinah in this forum today.
Gnostic Christians using the term Sh’kina as a “spirit of glory whom beings of light lived.”
Shekhina is also referred to as (Gen.48:16) “the Angel which redeemed me from all evil,” uttered by Israel (Jacob.)
“2She is the liberating Angel, manifesting her male aspect as that of Metatron. Representing compassion in its purest form, despite being, officially the female side of God. Shekhina is visible and audible as a feminine entity in her own right. Described as a beautiful being of light whose most important function is to intercede with God on behalf of her children. Believed to stand by our sides when we arrive in the heavens to be “debriefed” on our lives and experiences. Defending us in our wrongs, and always finding good in the hearts of humans. Another of her roles is to comfort the sick, the poor, the suffering, and has a special place in her concerning the repentant of sinners.”
When referencing the websites regarding Archangel Shekinah, I had to stop and pay attention to the details that were laid out in one of the articles regarding Shekinah, so much detail interwoven into the design of Humanity caught my eye and attention. The Jewish Kabbalistic version really struck a chord for me as to the overall meaning and breathtaking tenet in the mysteries of Archangel Shekinah and Metatron. We as woman can relate to Shekinah’s path which has not always been pleasant, in the passages below you will find that she herself was lost and separated from God and wandered unsuccessfully beholding to reunite with him once again. How many of us are lost in the wilderness, going through circumstances beyond our control and we do not see a clear way out of the mess that we created, or others created for us, this was Shekinah’s dilemma. She understands our pain, our sorrows, our deep rooted issues of life and she is always availing herself to humanity under these circumstances we find ourselves in. She teaches us that pure love is the way to unite ourselves in Oneness. She is able to guide us to this knowing and also to remember who we truly are which is spiritual beings.
“1The most common teachings of the Holy Shekinah in the Kabbalah attribute the Shekinah to Malkut and Binah, Malkut corresponding with the lower, exterior Shekinah and Binah corresponding with the upper, interior Shekinah; hence, the ‘Daughter’ and the ‘Mother,’ respectively. As is known, in many teachings Shekinah is often spoken of as synonymous with Malkut and the Names of God, Adonai and Elohim, which are attributed to Malkut. These attributes within Atzilut, the World of the Sefirot, are accurate and convey secret mysteries concerning the Holy One and Shekinah, and the corresponding teachings of esoteric wisdom drawn from them are the word of the Living God, Elohim Hayyim. There is another less common attribute and body of teachings concerning the Holy Shekinah, however, that offers another vista into the depth of mysteries of Shekinah, the Divine Presence, one that is also the word of the Living God, and that by no means poses any contradiction to the standard teachings concerning the Holy Shekinah corresponding with Binah and Malkut. In these teachings of the Holy Shekinah the Shekinah is not attributed to any specific Sefirah, or Sefirot, but, in a manner of speaking, is contemplated as a distinct principle in herself, corresponding with the entire array of the ten Sefirot of Atzilut – the Divine Presence and Power of all of the Divine Attributes, or Divine Actions.”
“1Remembering the teachings of the Sefer Yetzirah concerning the number of Sefirot, that there are “ten, not nine…ten, not eleven,” the Holy Shekinah is not to be understood in these teachings as a Sefirah, therefore forming eleven Sefirot, heaven forbid, but rather the Holy Shekinah is understood as the Divine Presence and Power, or ‘Light-Presence’ and ‘Light-Power,’ of all ten Holy Sefirot; hence, the Holy Shekinah of the Infinite One, Ain Sof. According to this teaching of the Kabbalah inwardly the Supernal Shekinah is inseparable from the Sefirot of Atzilut, abiding in complete unity with the Light of the Infinite, or Ain Sof and the Holy Sefirot. In this unity ‘sparks’ of the Sefirot ‘impregnate’ her, and so within the Holy Shekinah there are ten Sefirot, from these she ‘gives birth,’ and ‘issuance’ into the Universe of Beriyah, and through Beriyah issuance flows into Yetzirah and Asiyah, and the entire matrix of creation comes into being and is sustained, all from the Holy Shekinah, the Divine Presence and Power of the Infinite One.”
“1This, of course, is a teaching, revelation, of the great mystery of how the Holy Shekinah connects the Realm of Yichud, unity, with the Realm of Perud, separation, or how the Holy Shekinah is the intersection of the eternal realm and space-time, or the infinite and the finite; hence, how the Supernal Shekinah is the union of Adam Kadmon-Atzilut with Beriyah-Yetzirah-Asiyah.”
“1In that the Holy Shekinah has ten Sefirot within her, ‘sparks’ of the Sefirot of Atzilut, in effect, in a manner of speaking, the Supernal Shekinah forms a ‘hidden’ olam-universe in between Atzilut and Beriyah, connecting them – Olam Ha-Shekinah, the ‘Universe of Shekinah.’ The interiors of the Sefirot within her are inseparable from the Sefirot of Atzilut, and from the exteriors of the Sefirot of the Shekinah the Light and Life of the Sefirot of Beriyah emits and those Sefirot come into being and are sustained. The vehicle of this transmission of Life and Light into Beriyah is the ‘angel of the Supernal Shekinah,’ Metatron, and like the Holy Shekinah he has ten Sefirot within him, the Sefirot of Beriyah, and because his ‘body’ is the Universe of Beriyah that olam-universe is also called the ‘Universe of Metatron.’”
“1This naturally brings another understanding of the interior and exterior Shekinah, for in this teaching the interior Shekinah corresponds with the Holy Shekinah inseparable from the Infinite Light and ten Sefirot of Atzilut and the exterior Shekinah corresponds with the Holy Shekinah interacting with Perud, or Beriyah-Yetzirah-Asiyah; the direct involvement of the Holy Shekinah in the great matrix of creation corresponding with the ‘angel of the Shekinah,’ Metatron.”
“1Now, all in a great and supreme mystery, inwardly, inseparable from the Holy Sefirot of Atzilut, which are inseparable from the Infinite One and are themselves infinities, the Holy Shekinah abides forever in fullness – interior Shekinah is immeasurable, Shekinah of the Infinite One, and as the Infinite One, she has no beginning and no end, and is completely transcendent of the Matrix of Creation, and in the action of creation, she is UNCHANGED. In herself, in the Infinite One, she abides perpetually in full glory and power, immeasurable, endless glory and power, radiant with all of the Holy Sefirot, Supernal Attributes. Engaging in the action of creation, continuing the play of tzimtzum, restriction, concealment, of the Infinite Light and Divine Presence, or the Light-Presence and Light-Power, so the Holy Shekinah restricts, conceals, herself more or less, and in effect she takes on the dance of endless change, endless becoming, and she increases and decreases in her manifestation based upon what transpires in creation, and specifically based upon the thoughts, words and actions of ‘human beings.’ Thus, while inwardly the Shekinah is not changed in the action of creation, nor by creation and creatures, outwardly the Shekinah can be changed and is changed in the movements of creation and what transpires in the world, there is a play of ‘increasing’ and ‘decreasing’ in the manifestation of the Holy Shekinah within creation and the world; hence, there is this play of the interior and exterior Shekinah, transcendent and immanent, but understand she is not two, she is One Divine Presence, and in her nature and essence she is supernal and infinite – the presence and power of the Infinite One, Ain Sof.”
“1In this you will understand that the teachings of the Zohar is perfectly true, ‘a stirring below creates a stirring above,’ and apart from a stirring below there is no stirring above; hence, the manifestation of the Shekinah in creation and the world, whether ‘full’ or ‘lacking,’ ‘waxing,’ or ‘waning,’ is dependent upon creatures, and specifically upon human beings. When human beings seek enlightenment and the Holy One, and return to the Holy One, and they study and contemplate, pray and meditate, and worship the Holy One in spirit and truth, engaging in divine actions, good works, ’cleaving’ to the Holy One and Shekinah, so there is a flow of blessings, spiritual powers, of the Sefirot of Atzilut through the Holy Shekinah into the Universe of Beriyah, or Metatron, and through Metatron into Yetzirah and Asiyah, and this world. Thus, the Holy Shekinah is with the faithful and chosen, and is manifest in fullness in this world, and the angel of the Shekinah can take up the full range of divine actions among the faithful and chosen ones, the ‘Community of Israel.’ If, however, a dark and perverse generation arises and the faithful and spiritual are led astray and turn away from the Holy One, falling into wickedness and evil, and there are few tzaddikim, righteous ones, in the world, then in effect the manifestation of the Holy Shekinah is diminished and lacking, and she ‘withholds herself and withdraws to her plane,’ and it is said that the Shekinah is in ‘exile.’”
“1As has been said, nothing changes with regards to the interior Shekinah, or the Holy Shekinah as she is in herself and in the Eternal One, but rather this play of ‘increasing’ and ‘decreasing’ happens in the exterior Shekinah, and how the Holy Shekinah relates and interacts with creation and this world, whether in mercy, compassion, or judgment.”
“1There is a secret mystery to be shared concerning Archangel Metatron. When the Supernal Shekinah gives full issuance of influxes to this great and supernal archangel so he is called ‘Metatron,’ but when the Holy Shekinah withholds herself, and is in ‘exile,’ issuing minimal sparks for the sustenance and preservation of life and little more, the alef in his name is changed to a yod and he is called Mitatron. Thus, when the Holy Shekinah is manifest in fullness, and the angel of the Shekinah can take up the full array of divine actions in creation and the world, this is Metatron, but when the Holy Shekinah is diminished, and the angel of the Shekinah is restricted in divine actions, this is Mitatron. May the Holy One have mercy upon us and deliver us from such times!” Amen.
“1As perhaps you might intuit, this shift in Archangel Metatron to Mitatron manifests throughout the heavens, the divine actions of archangels and angels becoming more restricted, their strength and influence in creation and the world being diminished; when this occurs, God forbid, the spiritual force of the Other Side – archons and demons, increase in power and influence, and dominion, and this leads to the manifestation of severe and strict judgement. Understand, when it is said that the ten Sefirot of Beriyah are within Metatron, so all of these powers of the heavens, the interior and exterior heavens, and the archangels and the orders of angels – the company of heaven, are within him.”
“1Know and believe, though, that when the faithful and chosen abide in covenant and tend the Continuum, and there are tzaddikim, righteous ones, in the world that act with full force and zeal in the Continuum, so the heavens and angels are increased, their power and influence is strengthened, and there may even be the creation of the new heavens and new angels through issuances made to flow from the Supernal Shekinah. Thus even in dark times if souls will seek the Holy One and return to the Holy One, and will tend the Continuum in faith and love, taking up contemplation, prayer and meditation, and the worship of the Holy One in spirit and truth, there is always hope, the Holy Shekinah may be ‘brought in from her exile,’ a true and proper ‘dwelling place’ being made for her Anointed Community, ‘spiritual community of Israel.’”
“1There is, no doubt, more that can be shared concerning these mysteries of the Holy Shekinah and Metatron, but for the moment this seems to be enough and I’m to pause, waiting upon the Spirit of the Lord.”
“1May you place the Name of Yahweh before your face and may the angel of the Holy Shekinah go before you delivering your enemies into your hands this day!” Amen

NOTES….
“1The Ten Sefirot = The body of Metatron”
“The Ten Sefirot of Beriyah = The Spiritual Universe”
“Beriyah is called the Universe of Metatron”
“The Sefirot of Beriyah are Spiritual powers of the Sefirot manifest as Archangels = Great Cosmic Forces”
“Gevurah manifests as Two Archangels = Kamael and Samael corresponding with righteousness and wickedness, light and darkness, good and evil in the manifestation of Judgment (Din)”
“These opposing twin powers are within Metatron.”
“1The corresponding Spiritual Forces, powers, the entire array of archangel and angels, those of heaven and God, those of the demiurge and archons, and those of Samael or Satan.”
“1When the Holy Shekinah is manifest in full glory and power, and the great angel of the Shekinah appears as Metatron, or Da’at manifests as Metatron, the angels of heaven and God wax strong and hold Dominion – they are in ‘ascension,’ but when the Holy Shekinah is diminished and in exile, and the angel of Shekinah manifests as Mitatron, the power and influence of the angels of heaven and God wanes, and the power and influence of the angels of archons and angels of Satan waxes strong – the Spiritual Forces of the Other Side are unleashed, and they come into dominion, God forbid, and God have mercy upon us!
““““““““““““““““““““““““““““““““““““`
Here we shall say where there is Da’at, knowledge of God, Metatron is manifest, but where there is ignorance of God, there is Mitatron. Understand!”
“1There is a virtue in a time of Mitatron, though, as we see with Noah. Whatever action is done in faith and love, even the smallest of actions, bears greater fruit, greater merit or light-power, for it is manifest in great tribulation, great pressure, stress, resistance – great opposition, and therefore it shines above all more in heaven and the World-to-Come, bringing greater glory to the Supernal One. In such times, the Holy Shekinah, heaven and the angels, are in need of our contemplations of the Word and Wisdom of God, and our invocations, prayers and meditations – all devotions, that much more, for they give them greater influence in the world to interceded, all according to the mercy and compassion of the Almighty (Shaddai).”
“1In this light consider the sanctuary of the Holy Shekinah, the Woman of Light, prepared for her in the wilderness in the Apocalypse, rather like the ark that Noah built in a very dark time; hence, the power of Anointed Community in a time, a movement of Mitatron, holding the space of Metatron in the world and for the world, and in God and for God, laboring to uplift as many as possible in return to God, the True Light, as the End-Of-Days draws near. This, is the spiritual labor of the times in which we are living.”

DEFINITIONS:
Adonai: is the plural of Adon, meaning “Lord, Lord LORD, master, or owner” (the word Adon derives from a Ugaritic word meaning “lord” or “father.”) In the Tanakh, the word Adon can refer to men and angels as well as to the Lord God of Israel. (Exodus 34:23). God is called the “Lord of Lords.” (Deuteronomy 10:17) and Psalm 8:1 mentions God as “YHVH our Lord.”
Asiyah: Assiah (or ‘Asiyah, also known as Olam Asiyah, עוֹלָם עֲשִׂיָה in Hebrew, literally “the World of Action”) is the last of the four spiritual worlds of the Kabbalah —Atziluth, Beriah, Yetzirah, ‘Asiyah— based on the passage in Isaiah 43:7.
According to the Maseket Aẓilut, it is the region where the Ofanim rule and where they promote the hearing of prayers, support human endeavor, and combat evil. Their ruler is Sandalphon. According to the system of the later Land of Israel Kabbalah, ‘Asiyah is the lowest of the spiritual worlds containing the Ten Heavens and the whole system of mundane Creation. The light of the Sefirot emanates from these Ten Heavens, which are called the “Ten Sefirot of ‘Asiyah”; and through them spirituality and piety are imparted to the realm of matter—the seat of the dark and impure powers.
Atziluth or Atzilut: (also Olam Atsiluth, עוֹלָם אֲצִילוּת, literally “the World of Emanation”), is the highest of four worlds: I have created (Beriah “Creation,”) I have formed (Yetzirah “Formation,”) even I have made (Asiyah “Action.”) in which exists the Kabbalistic Tree of Life. Beriah follow it. It is known as the World of Emanations, or the World of Causes. In the Kabbalah, each of the Sephiroth in this world is associated with a Name of God.
Beri’ah (Hebrew: בְּרִיאָה or[1] בְּרִיָה), Briyah, or Briah (also known as Olam Beriah, עוֹלָם בְּרִיאָה in Hebrew, literally “the World of Creation”), is the second of the four celestial worlds in the Tree of Life of the Kabbalah, intermediate between the World of Emanation (Atziluth) and the World of Formation (Yetzirah), the third world, that of the angels. It is known as the World of Creation, or Korsia (from Heb. כּוּרסָה – “seat, chair”, the Throne). Beri’ah is the first of the four worlds to be created ex nihilo, since Atzilut was emanated rather than created. Thus, although there exist beings that dwell in Atzilut, those beings are overwhelmed by the Divine Light and are unaware of their own existence; in Beri’ah however, the angels are dimly aware of their own existence as distinct from God’s.
Binah: (meaning “understanding”; Hebrew: בינה bīnāh), is the third sephira on the kabbalistic Tree of Life. It sits on the level below Keter (in the formulations that include that sephirah), across from Chokhmah and directly above Gevurah.
Chayyim or Haim (Hebrew: חַיִּים Ḥayyīm, Classical Hebrew: [ħajˈjiːm], Israeli Hebrew: [ˈχa.im, ħaˈjim]), also transcribed Haim, Hayim, Chayim, or Chaim (English pronunciations: /haɪm/ HYME, /xaɪm/ KHYME, /ˈxɑːjiːm/ KHAH-yeem), is a name of Hebrew origin which means “life”. According to Kabballah, the name Hayim helps the person to remain healthy, and people were known to add Hayim as their second name to improve their health. Chai is the Hebrew word for “alive”.
Ain Sof or Ein Sof, or Eyn Sof: (/eɪn sɒf/, Hebrew: אין סוף), in Kabbalah, is understood as God prior to any self-manifestation in the production of any spiritual realm, probably derived from Solomon ibn Gabirol‘s (c. 1021 – c. 1070) term, “the Endless One” (she-en lo tiklah). Ein Sof may be translated as “unending”, “(there is) no end”, or infinity.[1] It was first used by Azriel (c. 1160 – c. 1238), who, sharing the Neoplatonic belief that God can have no desire, thought, word, or action, emphasized by it the negation of any attribute. Of the Ein Sof, nothing (“Ein”) can be grasped (“Sof”-limitation). It is the origin of the Ohr Ein Sof, the “Infinite Light” of paradoxical divine self-knowledge, nullified within the Ein Sof prior to creation. In Lurianic Kabbalah, the first act of creation, the Tzimtzum self “withdrawal” of God to create an “empty space”, takes place from there. In Hasidic Judaism, the Tzimtzum is only the illusionary concealment of the Ohr Ein Sof, giving rise to monistic panentheism. Consequently, Hasidism focuses on the Atzmus divine essence, rooted higher within the Godhead than the Ein Sof, which is limited to infinitude, and reflected in the essence (etzem) of the Torah and the soul.
Elohim: (Hebrew: אֱלֹהִים) is a word in the Hebrew Bible, which sometimes means deities in the plural, and elsewhere refers to a single deity, particularly (but not always) the Jewish God.
Exile: To be in exile means to be away from one’s home (i.e. village, town, city, state, province, territory or even country), while either being explicitly refused permission to return or being threatened with imprisonment or death upon return.
Malkut/Malkuth: means Kingdom. It is associated with the realm of matter/earth and relates to the physical world, the planets and the solar system.
Metatron (Hebrew: מֶטָטְרוֹן Meṭāṭrōn, מְטַטְרוֹן Məṭaṭrōn, מֵיטַטְרוֹן Mēṭaṭrōn, מִיטַטְרוֹן Mīṭaṭrōn) or Mattatron (Hebrew: מַטַּטְרוֹן Maṭṭaṭrōn) is an angel in Judeo-Islamic mythology, mentioned in a few brief passages in the Aggadah and in mystical Kabbalistic texts within the Rabbinic literature. The name Metatron is not mentioned in the Torah and how the name originated is a matter of debate. In Islamic tradition, he is also known as Mīṭaṭrūsh, the angel of the veil. In folkloristic tradition, he is the highest of the angels and serves as the celestial scribe or “recording angel”. In Jewish apocrypha and early kabbalah, “Metatron” is the name that Enoch received after his transformation into an angel.
Representing purely material existence, it is known as the World of Action, the World of Effects or the World of Making. In western occultism it is associated with the Suit of Pentacles (or Coins or Disks, the terminology varies according to the deck) in the Tarot. The world of Yetzirah precedes it.
Perud: separation from the whole, in the mystic’s view, is the cardinal sin, the very root of all sins. Separation is caused by self-assertion, ego-centricity. It is tantamount to idolatry, creating dualism or pluralism. It is an infringement upon the ultimate yichud -the unity or oneness of the Absolute. For to take that stance is to establish oneself as a yesh – a `something,’ selfhood, a reality separate from, outside of, and next to, whatever other being there is. Thus it is a denial of the solitary unity of G‑d..
Sefirot: (Hebrew: סְפִירוֹת səp̄îrôṯ), meaning emanations, are the 10 attributes/emanations in Kabbalah, through which Ein Sof (The Infinite) reveals them self and continuously creates both the physical realm and the chain of higher metaphysical realms (Seder hishtalshelus.). The term is alternatively transliterated into English as sephirot/sephiroth, singular sefirah/sephirah etc.
Yetzirah: (also known as Olam Yetsirah, עוֹלָם יְצִירָה in Hebrew) is the third of four worlds in the Kabbalistic Tree of Life, following Atziluth and Beri’ah and preceding Assiah. It is known as the “World of Formation”. “Yetzirah” as in “formation” is as opposed to “Beriah” as in “creation” actually taking whatever matter that was created in “Beriah” and shaping it into the basic elements.
Yichud: In Jewish religious law (halakha), the laws of yichud (Hebrew: איסור ייחוד issur yichud, prohibition of seclusion) is the prohibition of seclusion in a private area of a man and a woman who are not married to each other. Such seclusion is prohibited in order to prevent the two from being tempted or having the opportunity to commit adulterous or promiscuous acts. A person who is present in order to prevent yichud is called a shomer.
The Zohar (Hebrew: זֹהַר, lit. “Splendor” or “Radiance”) is the foundational work in the literature of Jewish mystical thought known as Kabbalah.[1] It is a group of books including commentary on the mystical aspects of the Torah (the five books of Moses) and scriptural interpretations as well as material on mysticism, mythical cosmogony, and mystical psychology. The Zohar contains discussions of the nature of God, the origin and structure of the universe, the nature of souls, redemption, the relationship of Ego to Darkness and “true self” to “The Light of God”. Its scriptural exegesis can be considered an esoteric form of the Rabbinic literature known as Midrash, which elaborates on the Torah.
